My Goals for sem1 in Me and My world are:

1. To get an "A"
2. To help prepare for my career.
3. To have a wounderful life.

To achieve these goals I will need to do the following:

1. Come to class on time.
2. Do all set tasks.
3. Don't put anyone down.
4. Listen to the teacher when he is talking to the class.
5. Be a good role model to others in the class.

  • What have you learnt in the past month? I have leant in the past month about the British settlement.
  • What did you do to help yourself learn? Listen, Respect others, study and be persistent all the time.
  • What did you do that made it difficult for you to learn well? Come late to class; talk sometimes when the teacher or classmates are.
  • Who did you work with? Were these effective (good) working relationships? Olena, Aleksandra, Malaz and Mohamud.Yes they were good effective relationship.
  • How did you go with meeting your goals for the semester? Good


During the past few weeks:
I have learnt about: some of Aboriginals history. From the teacher and some of the Aboriginals kids.

I most enjoyed the SOSE class on the interviews, it was fun and we learnt a lot about different convicts.
My attitude has been ok I guest. I can improve if I put my head into.
My behaviour has been really well.
My interim report in the subject indicated that I can do a lot better this sem.
I have worked really well on both of my essay’s and my interview.
I have not
my greatest strength is my voice.
The two areas of my learning that I want to focus on improving are:
1. my attitude towards the teachers and how I treat some of my class mates.
2. ANd my attitiude is something i really want to work on.
I am happy with my teacher because he is fun person and he his great.


During the Aboriginal unit I most enjoyed our SOSE class on: The land rights and discriminations.
During the Aboriginal unit I least enjoyed the SOSE class on: Nothing! It is fun.
SOSE (Me and My World) is: a great subject because you get to learn history about other countries.
During this first semester in SOSE I have: learnt a lot about the European settlement.
I work best when I’m in a group
I have not worked well when I sit with my friends and talk a lot
I wish that I could get an A in all of my essays .
My attitude to homework has been Ok.
My Semester 1 report will show that I’m ok , but I can do better.
The area/s in which I have shown greatest improvement are coming to class on time.
My teacher always pushes me to do my best.
My teacher makes me work really hard.
I think that our class wiki is Ok!
High Expectations means do my best and work really hard.
I have shown high expectations when I’ m focused and listening.
A second example of how I have demonstrated high expectations is
listening and focusing and always doing my best.

Three of my goals for Semester Two in this subject are:
1. High expectation
2. Never giving up.
3. A+
I have set these goals because I want to do better than semester!

How effectively have you used class time? I use class effectively most of the time. I come to class on time, ask questions when I don’t know what to do.


How often have you completed homework tasks? I complete my homework all the time and sometimes i do some of it.

What outstanding work do you still have? Graffiti pod cased work.

In which area do you believe you have made your greatest improvement?

What are two weaknesses you need to continue to work on? 1. Well listening to other in my class.
2. Don’t get distracketed

I have most enjoyed: working with other it makes it more interesting.

I have learned that: I should listen to other before says stuff.

I have shown high expectations when I complete all work.
I have demonstrated the following skills and abilities which will help me to succeed at Year 10 next year: rock up to class on time and always come to school.

Student Support sessions are great because it gives you time to complete school. It doesn’t mean that you are a dumb student it’s just something that helps you finish you work on time.
